Open finance regulation in the UK and EU is moving - but not always at the speed the market needs, or in the direction it requires. Payments Services Directive 3 (PSD3), Financial Data Access (FiDA), and Data (Use & Access) Act (DUAA) are all in motion. The ambition is clear: open finance at scale, across borders, with consumers and businesses in control. The gap between that ambition and operational reality is where this panel focussed. This report captures the unvarnished exchange from four practitioners who operate at the intersection of regulation and deployment - on what regulation is getting right, where the fault lines are, and what unlocks genuine progress in the next 12 to 24 months.
